• The Alpha Shield was designed from the start to stop handgun cartridges only. It generally stops big, blunt, and lower velocity projectiles well. High velocity center fire rifle cartridges like those used in assault and hunting rifles WILL PENETRATE the shield. For protection against rifle threats, please consider the Delta Shield or Bravo Shield.

Delta Special Shield™

The Delta Special™ takes the popular Delta Shield and adds an arm strap for increased control, and also shifts the handle 2" lower in order to increase head and shoulder protection when the shield is held in resting position.

 Delta Shield Extreme Test Delta shields are normally Rhino coated for weather protection, spall and bullet resistance but in this case the shield was powder coated to better witness the shots. The shield was hit at 76 points with a total of 100 shots. Shots were fired at critical areas multiple times including bolt heads to make the shield fail, but there was zero failure.
